• Processor: i5 with a clock speed of 3.2GHz or better (The greater the core clock speed, the faster M3 will perform) (For M3-V4Intel i7 CPU 8th generation or later(3.2Ghz+) is recommended.)
  

• RAM: 8 GB Ram (16 GB Ram for M3-V4 is recommended.)

• Hard Drive: ~ 200 GB (Solid State Drive recommended)

• System: 32/64-Bit Operating System, Windows 10. (64-Bit Operating System, Windows 10, or Windows 11 for M3-V4 is recommended.)

• M3 Version 4 is not compatible with Windows 7!

Other notes:

M2/M3 software does not like screen savers of any kind. Instead, set the time to turn off the display in the system power settings.  See the image below.

Recommended System Power Options Setting

In System Power Options/Advanced Settings, set the following:

Standard hard drive: Set a time out to a number of minutes (usually 10).

Solid-state drive: Set the time out to Never.

Sleep: Set all Sleep settings to Never.

USB settings / USB selective suspend setting set to Disable.

Or, on Windows 11, set the USB Battery Power Saver to off.  See the image below.

Network domain with multiple logins

If your computer has multiple logins on a network domain, please ensure each user can access the “C:\Users\Public\Documents\MetLogix\” Directory. Also, we recommend that each user has a logout script that shuts down the M2/M3 software before logging off the system. If the software is left running and a user logs out, another user logging into the computer cannot use the M2/M3 software.
