How do I calibrate my lenses and/or do a software camera alignment in the M3 software?

Please see the M3 Pixel Calibration Guide in the attachments panel on this page.

  • To calibrate lenses using a circular artifact, please refer to pages 2 and 3 in the attached guide.
  • To calibrate lenses using a straight edge and the machine measuring stage, please refer to pages 3 and 4 in the attached guide. Note: we do not recommend this method.
  • To calibrate the camera skew alignment, please refer to pages 5 and 6 in the attached guide.
