USB port not recognizing the thumb drive

Power Off EVO CAM:

  • Turn off the EVO CAM and unplug the camera's power cable from the back.

Reset the Camera:

  • Press and hold the power switch for about 45 seconds.
  • Release the power switch, then plug the power cable back in and power the EVO CAM back on.

Test the Side USB Port:

  • Insert the thumb drive into the USB port on the side of the EVO CAM.
  • Check if the drive is now recognized.

Test the Rear USB Port:

  • If the side USB port doesn't recognize the drive, try plugging it into the USB port on the back of the EVO CAM and test again.

Reformat the USB Drive (if not recognized):

  • If the drive is still not recognized, take a blank USB drive and reformat it using the SD Card Formatter software.
  • In the formatting options, ensure “Quick Format” is checked, then proceed to format the drive.

Test the Side USB Port:

  • Insert the thumb drive into the USB port on the side of the EVO CAM.
  • Check if the drive is now recognized
